DISC OIL SKIMMER
Spill Prevention & Response Equipments

The disc oil skimmer is a durable and highly efficient oil recovery device, it is composed mainly of a hydraulic power pack, hydraulic oil piping, and a skimmer head floating on the water surface. It is widely used for the recovery of spilled oil on seas, rivers, lakes, and ponds.

The skimmer head floating on the water surface is made of corrosion-resistant glass fiber reinforced plastics, stainless steel, or marine-grade aluminum alloy.

The skimmer can be used for recovery of spilled oil on the surface of seawater or fresh water and its robust and durable structure is best suited for applications on open seas where rough sea state may occur.

Moreover, its floats are foam-filled resulting in a dual buoyancy configuration.

High-viscosity crude oil, medium to low-viscosity lubricant, fuel vegetable oil, and other spilled oil can be recovered.

Stepless speed regulation of discs according to on-site oil spill conditions can guarantee a greater oil to water ratio for recovery.
